Post: Take care of yourself first.

Take care of yourself first.

Sounds selfish and a form of idol worship doesn’t it? The excuses I hear as to why someone can’t exercise. “ I have a mortgage to pay, I have 5 foster kids, I have a sick grandma and my favorite of all, I’m so tired when I get home from work”! Duh! Maybe if you were in better shape you wouldn’t be so tired. Here’s a little life hack, the better shape you’re in, the more you can handle. So if you have all these responsibilities what happens if you can’t perform them? You lose your house, can’t go take granny some soup and ultimately you can’t go to work. Logically, your first choice should be to take care of yourself so you can do all the other’s things that are required of you. If you don’t, eventually you won’t be able to do any of them, especially the things you like. Say goodbye to your independence. #dontmakeyourhealthyouridol. 🙄
